Waverunner
A declarative runner for planned batches of agent tasks. You list the tasks, it spins each one into an isolated worktree, runs batches in parallel or in sequence and keeps an audit trail of prompts, logs and outputs. It lives beside the product repo, so the orchestration never leaks into the product.
CompanyMaestro
A team of role agents (product, engineering, marketing, finance and a CEO) that turns an idea into a running app with a landing page. Engineering work is dispatched as a DAG, and gates between stages return structured pass or fail verdicts before work moves on.
What it taught me
The useful unit is a well-specified task with its own workspace and a gate at the end. Most of the work is writing the spec and the gate; the agents do the rest. I used both tools to build and ship more than five products.
